CLUB NEWS

IMPORTANT news for Club-owners and -members!!!

Yeah, this is OVERLY important now for every club-owner, -moderater, and /or -member!!!
I recieved a journal-entry from , where it´s written about a VERY drastic
club-stytem-changement on dA.
They´re finally trying to seperate clubs from private accounts.
With the intention to limitate the inactive/dead clubs, they have suggestions for pretty
hard limiations for clubs.
Examples:

ONE club per moderator!
Only 100 members per club WITHOUT premium membership
A submission-limiation, so only a ceratin ammount of fanarts can be posted there.

CommunityRelations is owned by $Moonbeam13, and she is the one responsible for listening to the community and giving feedback to the developers. I’d say it’s more important to comment on #communityrelations than #devBUG

If you’re a member of a club, please contact your club owners, because in my experience, they probably don’t know! So many people didn’t know a club system was being developed. Some still don’t know.
If you’re a club mod, please post a journal, asking people to comment on #communityrelations Feel free to copy all of this text, making sure the links work.

It’s only people commenting on either #communityrelations or #devBUG’s blog that will make it seen. Replying to this journal most likely isn’t going to have any impact. Take the plunge, and comment about what you think of the limitations on #communityrelations

DON’T REPLY HERE. Please say what you think of the situation on #communityrelations, whether you think these limitations are a good idea or not. Most importantly, say WHY.

THIS IS A GOOD CHANCE TO GET A DECENT SYSTEM, considering they are testing basic (unsubscribed) groups at the moment. Lots of feedback will be more likely that they will see reason, and, in my opinion, removing the groupie limit will be good for dA as well as the users.

This is a club dedicated to Kankurou, a character from the anime/manga Naruto. Everyone has their own reasons to like him, but this is something most of us agree on: he gets too little affection from the fans. This club is here to gather Kankurou fans and their feelings, fan art, and fan fiction to a single spot for everyone to see. See the vitality of this fandom RARR!

Also, you don't have to take just my word for it. Check out our memberlist, it might surprise you.

Now then, you may be asking Jan? What the heck is that? And you also may be asking Why did you put a U at the end?? Well, one of our One True Founder's dA friends (~TeenBulma) said that someone told her that after about every few words or something, Kankurou says "Jan" at the end for the anime. Confused? If you have episode 20 of the Naruto anime, go check it out! Listen to the Japanese voice acting when Kankurou talks. As for the "u" thing, "ou" is an another way to write the long "o" in the end of Kankurou's name. You've noticed that the "o" in Kankurou's name is a bit longer than in, for example, Konoha or Naruto, right?



The RULES of this club

Don't be a total idiot. This is deviantArt, you'll have to obey the same rules as we all do. So no spam or personal insults or other annoying crap. And read the rest of the rules before attempting to join.
Do not add anything to your favourites from our gallery. A link to the original deviation by its original maker is always present in the deviant description. Same goes for comments, although the comments will be disabled in all of the more recent deviations.
If you already faved something, we normally report you. If that happend, please be kind, remove the fav AND fav the original one. Thanks.
No deliberate or totally obvious spoiling. You can talk about the manga and post fanart/fiction concerning its events, but try to be discreet. Avoid mentioning or depicting character deaths, the outcomes of the more important battles that haven't been shown in the anime, etc.


How to Join
READ ALL BEFORE SENDING A NOTE!

1. You HAVE to like Kankurou. I doesn't matter if it's a little or a lot, you just have to like him and not be a Kankurou hater.
2. Send a note and write JOIN on the subject.
3. For the message, write at least one decent reason why YOU, PERSONALLY, like Kankurou. More is fine, even an essay is fine, as long as you don't stray too far from the subject.
4. Tell whether you want your joining note to be in the memberlist for everyone to read.
5. If your message is seen and accepted, you're in.
6. Put a link to this club in your journal or your signature.


How to Send Fan Art & Fiction

Just send us a NOTE with the words "Fan Art" or "Fan Fiction" as the subject and a link to your deviation in the note itself. If you aren't a member, we can at least fave it. Only the members' deviations are submitted to our gallery and only strictly Kankurou-related deviations are allowed.
(That means: Pictures with Kankuro AND/OR his puppets in it are allowed!)
And please send only three deviations per note.
A new note with the next deviations can be send AFTER the pictures are submitted.


How to Become a Moderator

We're a bit underhanded here, so it'd be swell to have another person adding new members and fan art/fictions. So, if you are truly interested in becoming one, send a note to ~Viittaperkele. Include at least these things in your note:

why you want to become a moderator.
how much time you could dedicate to the club.
what kind of changes or events you'd like to see if there are any.

Speaking of moderators, here are the people who are or were involved with this club and its maintenance.

Founder

Our One True Founder. Not currently running this club.
~fourfoura was so incredibly kind and passed the goblet to me... and i love kanky! ^^ so here i am! the club is active once more! *world domination*

Those in Charge (Obey them whenever the Founder isn't around!)

According to the latest bit of information, TB (not to be mixed with tuberculosis) is alive. Not actively involved with this club.

New moderator. She's a crazy person, who loves to moderate clubs, add new members and submit new art. Not active anymore though, or so it seems.

(refers to herself as Kanku) Newest mod. She's a computer geek in every sense of the word and who's been trying to moderate a club for a while now. Kankurou's her first cosplay ever and thus she's never abandon him. Not active anymore. Half active...when time permits

She likes to care about/take over Naruto-clubs, which are already pretty big, but sadly have been not active anymore. (Prefers Kankuro-related ones for sure.)Now she´s trying her best with making this club active again too.
